Responsibilities:
- Install premium residential heating, air conditioning, heat pump, ductless, and indoor air quality systems from top equipment manufacturers
- Design, fabricate, and install ductwork and duct fittings, upgrading and improving existing duct systems for better airflow and performance.
- Start up, test, and commission new systems, adjusting controls and settings so every system runs at peak efficiency
- Troubleshoot startup issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Walk homeowners through their new system at the end of each job, showing how it works and answering their questions.
- Represent Best Care with a professional appearance and a respectful, friendly attitude in every home.
- Protect the customer’s home and leave every job site cleaner than you found it.
- Work closely with your install partner, service team, and dispatch to keep jobs on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and keep tools and materials in good condition.
- Participate in training, meetings, and company events.
Requirements:
- Three (3)+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA Universal Certification is preferred.
- Working knowledge of R-410A and newer A2L refrigerants (R-454B, R-32), or a willingness to learn.
- Strong understanding of ductwork, airflow, and proper system startup procedures.
- Professional appearance and solid communication skills with customers.
- Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Physically able to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last five (5) years.
- Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.
